Special Food and Beverage Message from the Managing Director

The following food and beverage arrangements have been made to insure that you have many options during your NACC/ NBB visit to the World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center.   NACC/NBB and the WCM are sensitive to your budget.

YOU ARE NOT A “CAPTIVE AUDIENCE”; YOU HAVE CHOICES:  First let me say that your $8.00, hotel guest, self parking fee is for the full day and includes all of the “ in and out” parking you wish to do. You simply swipe your hotel key to come and go from the parking lots.    You will always have the ability to drive off site for any of your food and beverage requirements, especially if you do not feel the menus and pricing offered at the WCM do not fit with your budget.

The Marriott World Center (WCM)is working really well with the NACC to offer the following incentives and concessions to encourage all NACC/ NBB guests to stay on site and enjoy its many restaurants, its Food Court, and the many other concession services.

  1. The Connecting Place Dining Area that we enjoy every year in the Exhibit Hall, will offer a Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, single choice menu (entrée and beverage) at $7.50, $8.50, and $9.50 respectively with No Tax and No Tip.  This will operate on Wednesday Breakfast through Friday Breakfast and we will set up 360+ seats in this area.
  2. The World Center Marriott has a large Food Court. It has additional seating on the patio.  This food court offers LARGE pre packaged salads, cold sandwiches, and Fresh Fruit Bowls in the $7+ range; hot sandwich combos (Burgers, Philly Steak, Chicken, BBQ, etc.) in the $7 to $10 range, and other items like large Pizzas, Foot Long Submarine Sandwiches, and even lighter items like Yogurt, and related, all at reasonable pricing.   They also serve breakfast sandwiches and pastries in the AM; all with Self Serve Beverages.
  3. The World Center Marriott will provide a daily Student Lunch and Dinner Special in the price range of $5.95 to $6.95 which will include entrée, chips or fries, fruit or cookie, and beverage.  This daypart special will be called and sold as the NACC/NBB Lunch Special or theNACC/NBB Dinner Special and will be offered in the Food Court.  NACC/NBB student guests will show their name badge or other designated I.D. to obtain the Lunch or Dinner Student Special.  This is geared toward high school and elementary students, 18 yrs of age and below.
  4. The World Center Marriott (WCM) will create special menus daily, in multiple locations, designed to accommodate NACC/NBB group pricing needs.  The Solaris Restaurant is their largest restaurant and will be the primary family place to eat during the week.  Expect pricing to be in the $10 to $12 range for breakfast, $13 to $18 for lunch, and proportionately higher for dinner.  They use buffet style to accommodate the larger guest traffic.  NACC guests will be offered the special priced menu options each time they visit the WCM various food outlets.  WCM will be creative in identifying these special group menu items for the NACC/NBB guests….I.E.  The NACC Burger, the NACC Fish and Chips Lunch Special, the NACC Breakfast Special, or similar.
  5. IN ALL CASES, when the words NACC Special is used, that means it is for all groups participating in the annual NACC event, which includes the National Bible Bowl, and all other affiliated groups, Bible Colleges, Exhibitors, and all guests involved with our larger event.  It is very helpful to identify yourself with NACC or NBB by showing your name badge or similar identification to receive the special pricing.
  6. All of the many specialty restaurants in the Marriott (Hawk’s Landing, Tuscany’s, Mikados, Velocity, etc.) will offer a 15% discount off of their regular seasonal selections.  Additionally, they will offer a special menu selection or two, in each of these specialty restaurants to accommodate different eating occasion budgets.
  7. You certainly are allowed to bring food and beverage products on site for use in your hotel rooms.   However, the WCM has a SNACK Store near the Food Court that sells bulk pretzels, chips, and related for those who want to have some snacks around the room or pool.
  8. The World Center Marriott is providing special menu pricing for our many special events and also to our affiliated partners.  No outside catering company is permitted on the WCM Property, due to WCM exclusivity.
