College Showcase
NACC 2010 offers a new opportunity for our Christian colleges and universities. Youth in Ministry is coordinating College Showcase to encourage high school students and parents to discover more about our institutions and the benefits of attending a Christian college.
Panel Discussion
The event will include a panel discussion considering the benefits of a Christian college education. Panelists include five admissions, faculty, and student representatives from several of our colleges. Panel members have been selected for the 30 -minute discussion that will begin at 9:45 pm in Wabash 2.
College Showcase
Each participating college will be permitted one 8-foot skirted table (No additional space for banners or displays/graphics will be allowed. Electricity will not be available.) NACC will assign the tables on a first-come basis when the registration is received. A maximum of 20 tables are available. A firm deadline for registration is April 1, 2010. A registration fee of $200 is required. Benefits include a group College Showcase advertisement in the NACC program book, display table, food/beverage reception, and prizes.
We want students to visit each display, so they will be given a ticket with each school logo. You will be given a unique stamp to mark the ticket after each visit with the student. To enter into the drawing for an iPod Touch, students must have visited each table and submitted the ticket to YiM. The drawing will be held during the Student Main Session on Wednesday, July 7 at 9:30 am. Each school may also contribute a t-shirt for drawings throughout the Student Convention.
Table set-up on Tuesday, July 6, 3-5 pm. Dismantle Tuesday at 11:00 pm. (note: any displays not removed by midnight will be dismantled by YiM).
