NACC Day Camp

What is NACC Day Camp?

Preschool and elementary students participate in high-energy worship, prayer and a Bible lesson. The children return to small groups-led by their NACC Camp Counselor-to talk about what they learned, pray and to do an activity or make a craft that connects with the lesson for the day.

Babies and toddlers receive the best of care in Wee-One-Wigwam. Our ministry team strives to maintain this environment by facilitating a smooth transition from and back to parents at check-in and check-out, and through praise and worship music, praying blessings over the babies as they care for them and interact with them, comforting those who feel unsettled, and talking with them about Biblical themes that focus on God’s love.

Who is invited to attend NACC Day Camp?

Your children (birth – 5th Grade) are invited to NACC Day Camp while you attend NACC Bible Studies, Main Sessions, and Workshops.

Who are the volunteers and staff?

Each member of our staff and volunteer ministry team who work directly with the children follows an application process that includes a security background check. Parents who would like to enter their child’s room need to be approved as volunteers prior to the event. Please contact us for more information.

NEW IN 2010

ENHANCED EXPERIENCE
The on-site activities have become so advanced that your kids will have a great time inside the convention center. In order to maximize our resources, the DayTrip program will not be offered. This means that your kids will not have the option of leaving the convention center with NACC volunteers. The decision to suspend DayTrips was difficult because there are so many great places for kids to visit in Indy. We hope that you will be able to visit the Children’s Museum or one of the other attractions as a family. You’ll be able to use the money you saved because last year’s DayTrips were over $40/child. NACC Day Camp is free for registered families.

ENHANCED PRESCHOOL AREA
Not in first grade yet? Not a problem! We are planning a rocking party for our 3-5 year olds. The preschool area is complete with a stage and sound system. Thank you, supporting churches, for letting us borrow equipment.

NO LATEX!
Last year, we had two families with latex allergies. One family was not able to attend because the situation could not be secured. Never again! We are leaving the latex at home and planning activities with safer options.
