Tony Dungy

Tony DungyTony Dungy led the Colts to Super Bowl victory in 2007, the first such win for an African American head coach. He was also the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and held assistant coaching positions with the University of Minnesota, Steelers, Chiefs, and Vikings.

Before coaching, Dungy played in the NFL and won the 1978 Super Bowl with the Steelers.  Dungy is now an analyst for NBC’s Football Night in America, and is a New York Times bestselling author of Quiet Strength, Uncommon and You Can Do It!

He is involved in a wide variety of charitable organizations, including  Family First,  All Pro Dad, Abe Brown Ministries, and various other charities.

Dungy's role model was his own dad, Wilber Dungy. From him, Tony says he learned that being a good father takes commitment and compassion, and being a father is his most important job. He and wife Lauren are the parents of seven children, and enjoy their new found "off season" from professional football at their home in Tampa.
